 The Fargo-Moorhead AM Rotary Club was chartered in 1991 with 25 members. We meet Thursdays at 7:00 AM at Ramada Plaza Suites in South Fargo, ND. Our club is an energetic bunch that enjoys fellowship, even at that early hour. We start our meetings with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer. During Breakfast, we share club announcements. Our Sergeant-at Arms collect our Happy Dollars and any fines(missing Rotary pins, etc.).
Each meeting includes a guest speaker. Speakers are very diverse. They represent non-profit organizations, community events, business/community leaders and even fellow Rotarians. Members sign up for a month in which to book speakers.
We have an attendance requirement of 60%. Leadership understands that with busy lives it may be difficult to achieve this goal; however, meetings may be "made up" at other clubs. There are three other Rotary clubs in the metro area as well as thousands around the world that count as make up meetings.
